Why not play both?

I always travel by car to Vegas but still prefer the monorail because it takes forever to travel around the strip by car. Besides the constant traffic, every casino except the Sahara has horrible parking that is literally up to a mile away from the casino. Also you don't have to be sober to ride.

When staying on the strip I like to stay at the Sahara and take the monorail wherever I want to go as that's usually the cheapest option. Unfortunately, the monorail doesn't go to the west side of the strip, you'd have to get off at Bally's and walk across the pedestrian bridge.

I'm not familiar with the promo, but if you think you can get 1.25% cashback and 1.25% comps off a game that is essentially -1.35% EV then go for it as long as comps are worth full value to you. The only thing is that depending on your skills it might not be the best use of your time and...

Remember never to tip the dealers, only bribe them under certain circumstances. If someone else is tipping your bribe will be less effective so don't do it.
