Rites of passage for counters

Getting backed off at Siena seems to be the right of passage for Reno CC's

This is from another thread... what would be a good collection of things every counter should experience at least once in their career?

Backed off at the Siena (Reno)
Playing at The Truckstop (Sparks)
The men's room at the Western (LV)
Rudely ejected at the Barbary Coast (do they still do that?)
Wendover/Jackpot
That brunette waitress at the Cal-Neva with the unimaginably large bust.
Getting cheeses and canned hams as comps (Minnesota)
Eating a full meal at the BJ table at the Barona.

I'm sure some here have a much bigger list of things we all need to do.

Does the new Barbary Coast / Bill's (what's the name now) still have low tolerance for AP's and winners?

And don't forget

....the 'ol boot from the Spaniard as well as the mobile "visual imagry" at the Sun Coast... sure cured my vision. I'm back to perfect 20/20 now. Who needs Lasix?

There's got to be some good stuff for Atlantic City, besides being dragged out into the surf and beaten to within an inch of your life.

i honestly can't remember if i used their can. i suspect i did, maybe my brain blocked it out. was it that bad?

It's pretty bad. The one and only time I was in there I was asked for spare change while I was standing at the urinal!

I’ve lost track of how many different fluids I've found splattered on their toilet seats. :vomit: Use the bathroom in the front lobby near the check-in desk instead. You'll thank me.

There were a couple of old queens in there when I visited. I went in the stall to get money out of my jock, and when I came out, they seemed very interested, and it might have not just been the money.

But in general the clientèle seemed way way too interested in my money in there. One black dude stopped and talked to me about it every chance he got. So I employed a trick to escape: on the way out, I walked very slowly, almost like limping, and as soon as I was out of the guy's line of sight, ran like hell towards the Experience. That way if he has someone outside waiting for me he'll be caught by surprise by an unexpected situation and the attack would likely be aborted.

I had an interesting experience in there once too. It was Christmas day and I had ducked into the bathroom to change out of my Santa costume (but that’s another story). I unzipped my backpack and headed for the nearest stall. There was some drunk “heybro” at the urinal singing to himself. When he saw me he said “Hey Santa! Why you ain’t come to my house this year?” I told him “I just came from your house. Thanks for the VCR.” He wasn’t too amused.

AC- let's see...

Probably the thing you'll remember most is the Boardwalk, Saturday or Sunday morning around 5 AM before the cleaning crew has come through. Garbage, filth, vomitus, dead birds and animals, live cats and rats, people passed out, bums relieving themselves.

There are always cameras and security on the Boardwalk, but some of the street people in AC are so psychotic they would probably attack you right in front of a cop.

That has to be one of the funniest and at the same time most awkward moments at a casino having someone ask you for change while you are at the urinal.

So, Zengrifter's unamerican, Manray is a sexist pig, Sonny's a pervert, BJ Bob can't spell, 21forme is an English teacher, Mimosine's a historian, and avs21's having a good laugh and EasyRhino is getting in the cheap jabs....God bless us, one and all!:joker:
