Weekend Warriors II

Well I can't beat you for number of hands played, I'm currently at 1004 played but I am up $1,098

but I have a very impressive win rate of 7.34%.. something tells me that this win rate is in for a little bit of negative correction...

needless to say switching between BJ and spanish 21 strategies for practice is sure giving my brain a work out.

thats it for my weekend I'm off to work.

Hi-Lo
TC <1: 1 unit
TC 1 to <2: 2 units
TC 2 to <3: 3 units
TC 3 to <4: 4 units
TC >=4: 5 units

Unbalanced KO (IRC=-8, add [preferred IRC + 8] to RC below to adjust for the IRC you use)
RC <-3: 1 unit
RC -2: 2 units
RC -1: 3 units
RC 0: 4 units
RC >0: 5 units

True counted KO
TC <-2: 1 unit
TC -2 to <-1: 2 units
TC -1 to <0: 3 units
TC 0 to <1: 4 units
TC >=1: 5 units

Results posted (Dead link: http://www.bjstrat.net/WW2.html) _on this page_.

Playing all hands using basic strategy in order to play 3 counts at once and compare them. More counts could be fairly easily added.

:confused: Not quite sure what you're up to here, but with the standard IRC of -4, it's not +EV until an RC of +1.

I see what you mean. In my spreadsheet I reference everything as if the imbalance is 0. That way the Counts sheet will work for any imbalance/IRC the user chooses. I should have made the IRC equal to -8 relative to the spread I listed, so you wouldn't raise your bet until running count increases by 6 from whatever you have chosen as your IRC. I'll fix it in my post. Thanks.

also k_c no big deal. but if you was going to play the Hi-Lo stuff by that sim i posted the ramp would be a bit differant:
TC <1: 1 unit
TC 1 to <2: 1 units
TC 2 to <3: 2.5 units
TC 3 to <4: 5 units
TC >=4: 5 units
....

just thought i'd bring that up. but it's your call how you want to ramp it.
also those excel sheets and charts are way cool. :1st:

I can change the spread to anything in the spreadsheet and it will be reflected everywhere. That's just what I chose to reference. If you want I can change it to your spread. :cool:

naw it's up to you k_c, just i guess if anyone wanted to apply Kasi's spread sheet to your results the parameters of some sim would need to match your spread and then those parameters updated in his spread sheet, i guess. the sim i was using was for rational bets if it hadn't of been i think the spread would have been pretty close to what your using.

KO Spread Correction

I still didn't describe the KO spread I'm using right. It's too late to edit my previous post, so this is it. :o RC was off by 1 for the last 4 entries.

Unbalanced KO (IRC=-8, add [preferred IRC + 8] to RC below to adjust for the IRC you use)
RC < -3: 1 unit
RC = -3: 2 units
RC = -2: 3 units
RC = -1: 4 units
RC >= 0: 5 units

So if IRC is -4:
RC<1: 1 unit
RC=1: 2 units
RC=2: 3 units
RC=3: 4 units
RC>=4: 5 units

still warm and fuzzy but a lil soft

1419 hands
up $892.00

No big deal but I think you got my actual results mixed up with the calculated expected results.

Flat bet 1 unit - Actual=+10.00, Expected (calculated pre-deal EV)=-122.00, Expected (calculated full shoe EV)=-99.70
Hi-Lo - Actual=+50.00, Expected (calculated pre-deal EV)=+57.20
UKO - Actual=+60.00, Expected (calculated pre-deal EV)=+77.20
TKO - Actual=+130.00, Expected (calculated pre-deal EV)=+44.80

Well if nothing else, I at least had to show this off. 10,000 hands and counting, in a -.55 game, play-all scenario, and Im beating the game alone with a flat-bet(+.20%).

10,004 hands@4,564$w/a win-rate of 2.92%

just curious but what is a standard Deviation on a flat bet game with a -0.55 edge?

is your result for the 8000+ hands within one standard deviation?
