    CVData v. CVCX

From my experience and past correspondence, CVCX does not run the same as CVData otherwise you wouldn't need to purchase both. CVCX runs optimum spreads and all those other fancy calculations. CVData runs the actual simulation. You will most probably never get similar results, maybe you will get...

How good is revere point count?

Yes, I used CVData and that's correct, it only goes to 250 hands/hr..... oh how I wish I can get a few dealers to run out the cards that fast on a regular basis.... I've only found 1 in 3 years that ran out (7) 6d shoes in 1 hour heads up.... and that includes shuffle time... and now she's...

How good is revere point count?

Lovinitall I had a conversation with CB some time last year about a similar scenario. I trust his sims to be accurate but I come up with different results using a different set of indices for Zen and RPC. The Hilo indices are as provided with CVData. Although it's not questioned that...

How good is revere point count?

I use RPC and the indices are different than those in the book. If you do a search you may find an attachment in one of my posts with the 6d indices I generated using CVData. If your just starting out, go with Zen, you'll find more people use it and its just a fraction of a percentage...

    cards Y following card X

Since the cards are random in a shuffled deck and change position in the next shuffled deck how can there be any "pattern" chart like your describing....but I'm not a math expert,.... and someone will find a way to do it.... and I'm sure if you could follow the depleted card ...sounds like too...

Do you find it easier to count at a table where you are the only player

Playing at a full table is a waste of time and a money losing proposition unless they are your team mates and you have a plan. If your pit crew is so smart that they can pick you up that quickly, then don't rent a seat. Play a few shoes and walk. Less experienced or beginning players...

Do you find it easier to count at a table where you are the only player

Machine gun dealers, heads up is the perfect way. There's usually little conversation so if you have a hard time with distractions fast dealers will force you to pay attention and if your heads up you can control the speed by slowing down your signals if need be... but why would you even...

    Counting styles and Indices...

I'm not sure anyone addressed the OP's question unless I missed it but: The I18 and Fab4 have nothing to do with the counting strategy your using. The I-18 are the most valuable index plays out of the many card combinations/index plays possible. Providing you use the proper index value for...

    Arnold Snyder — REDUX < ? >

A discounted pre- order? It's already selling for less than cover and it hasn't been released yet. Very odd. BJC

    Giving it a rest

I know you must have run over my post on page 6 since it was kind of weak in content, and I know it's been a very long time since I ran sims, but what am I missing here? Here's two sims using RPC as the strategy and only I18 & fab4. I dont see any issue with RoR.... playing $25min... even $50min...

    Giving it a rest

Aslan wants to play but also keep his spread down... as well as the variance. I think playing $50min at NME tables and wonging out justifies a lower spread providing he's out at earlier than tc=0 plus playing 2 hands helps to lower the variance even more. Besides... at some point in your life...

Mohegan Sun doesn't allow splitting of tens

The only difference between the $5 BJ pit and all the other BJ pits at MS is the $5 pit is H17, where all the others are S17. Just stay out of pit 7 which is the one closest to the Race book and you'll be ok. I heard a few weeks back they may be closing the $5 pit soon, so you won't have to...

    Card counting vs. drug dealing?

Balancing the scales Trump files for bankruptcy protection for his casino operation every decade. He deals drugs, the legal kind. He pumps his guest with unlimited quantities of alchohol with one hand and takes their money with the other. The few counters who make a very tiny dent in...
