After counting i don't think i could play just bs. do you have access to 5 dollar tables? if so 2,000 should be plenty. also if you don't want big swings lower your bet spread like 1-10 and just play 1 hand. i agree with you about spotting counters. i think only aps have the ability to do that...
I have recently been playing in Indianna and they have to announce everytime I ask to see the burn card. Soo I jusst stopped asking and count it as a high card. Very minimal heat compared to ac and soo much better playing conditions. Also I noticed when I doubled a7 against a 6 with a max bet...
The dollar blackjack at wildwildwest has the lucky ladies though. Maybe the game could be beatable with the lucky ladies side bet with a tc of 6 and up? When you bet 10 dollars there is no ante. I think the ll max bet is still 25... any thoughts?
You should check out dover downs in delaware. If you go during the week at like 4 to 8am, you can catch a 5 min/6 deck/s17. Penetration varies by dealer...usually a deck and a half. This is the best low stakes game I have found on the east coast soo far... last time I went their were 10 dollar 6...
Where is this dd game if you don't mind me asking? I'm in search of dd games on the east coast but have not even heard of any around...and I agree with briancp about that rediculous spread.
I went there for the first time recently on a Sunday and they had 10 min/6 deck all around. Most of the time it was either heads up play or 1 other person. This is by far the best place I've played at on the east coast. Penetration was a little more then 1 deck. If anyone knows of any other 6...
There is actually a 10 min/6 deck/s17. Played there the other night but I think it was the only 10 dollar table with s17. The penetration wasn't too bad..a little more then 1 deck cut off. I'm glad I have 2 casinos now to play at that have 6 deck plus 10 min.
I had a guy tell me you're not supposed to hit a 12 against a 2... I say well actually your supposed to hit a 12 against a 2 and 3. He says I don't think so. I say when's the last time you looked at a bs strategy chart? Lol he's like I don't have to I'm an engineer. Soo I just end it there...
Yeah the 26 running count was with 3 decks remaining. It was pretty crazy. I haven't advanced to half deck tc conversions yet. Well besides that my first vegas trip was a success being up 105 units. In dollars it comes out to a little over 400. I just can't wait to build a bankroll to play green...
Yeah I know... I just never saw a face up single deck before. I'm staying away from them for now on. Well last night I got to play at encore downtown. Played their 3 dollar/6 deck game. I was playing mostly 5 dollar hands except for the one shoe were it went to a negative count. Had a crazy shoe...
Kewljason, thanks for the tip. I just didn't wanna chance getting rated and then giving them my face/name for potential card counters...I guess I don't have to worry too much playing red chips. It would definitely help when pressing bets at high counts because of my small bankroll.
Well soo far the trip hasn't been too bad. Played at excalibur which had a nice face up 10 dollar single deck. Circus circus I thought had the best 6 deck games soo far having 3 and 5 dollar tables. Also played at riviera playing another single deck. Soo far I'm up 12 units. They had the 3 day...
