    Online poker 'rife with cheats'

Online poker collusion Cheating or mere advantage play? Probably cheating. Probably frowned upon by many APers who wouldn't think twice about taking advantage of a blackjack dealer's mistake. Still, I can't stop my inquisitive mind from speculating about it... trying to figure out how an...

    Risk-Averse Indices

The one dramatic difference between RA and non-RA indices is 10 vs 10. If I recall correctly the RA Hi-Lo index for doubling is very high, like 8; the other RA Hi-Lo indices are no more than 1 away from their corresponding non-RA indices. (As always, correct me if I'm mistaken.)

    I evolve!

Awww. Then let me modify this thread I've read those countless posts saying "you won't find such information on a public forum." Now it appears I might not find such information privately either. Oh well. Now that I've gotten a taste, I want more. Maybe *these* questions are okay to be...

    I evolve!

Getting backed off for the first time three years ago felt like a proud accomplishment for me. But I recently made an even bigger breakthrough - I noticed a consistently exposed hole card for the very first time on a Vegas trip. Finally, a taste of this advanced AP you guys are always hinting...

    Bonzo Goes Downtown

LVC has real DD too with good Barrick penetration. As for the "most liberal BJ," if you really want to learn the strategy for a 1:1 game, you could always go for SF21 down the street. I'm kinda surprised they closed their sports book. It's a sports-themed casino. At the moment.

    Illustrious XX

Is there a source for the most profitable indices beyond the first (Illustrious) eighteen? I'm pretty sure I can memorize and employ more than just eighteen indices. In the past I tried memorizing every Hi-Lo index between -3 and +6, which is about sixty if I recall. I was able to recall those...

Finally took a Big BJ Step!...subscribed to LV Advisor...

And whose fault was that? *grin* The one I miss most was the Golden Gate's "2:1 BJ For An Hour." I enjoyed being able to sit back and play BS heads-up from a CSM and still have an advantage, for a full sixty minutes, and then go have a Shrimp 'n' Ketchup. I swear they would bring in the slowest...

    What is your Back-off/Barring:Deck Ratio???...

4:1 spread at DD? That's low. What's your secret?

    Plus-Minus Counting

With a balanced count? Not so easy Adding an initial running count may help you keep track of the RC, but you'll still have to calculate the true count, which has to be "unbiased" back to 0 before you perform the division or else it won't represent what you think it does.

The First Annual Halloween Blackjack Ball and "21.Com" Grudge Match

Everyone email me your shoe size... ...so I can fit you for the wireless network of Bluetooth-enabled shoe computers I'll be designing. You guys can't lose! I thought about superfine-resolution button-mounted cameras by which a computer could exactly measure and remember the characteristics of...

    Lay of tens letter

By all means bust this if it's too specific There aren't that many card games I can think of where counting would apply. Of those few, there's one whose rules seem to coincide with this count, but I was under the impression it wasn't beatable. I wonder if... a) this game is beatable after all...

    are we still gambling

So nonzero variance is a sufficient condition for "gambling" In that case, there's not a single moment in anyone's life when they're not gambling. By this definition, the term is useless; it provides no information. If, on the other hand, we take "gambling" to include all its connotations in...

The new and improved Western Casino *LINK* *PIC*

So far so good I find myself "rooting" for Barrick whenever I read about their plans. They've preserved decent BJ at their properties, and their ambitious development plans would be good for letting downtown prosper. Is it naive to consider Barrick "good guys?"

Against my better judgement -- an endorsement

Me too, kind of I'm actually working on something quite similar, but with DD as well as SD in mind. I wasn't sure SD games were still common enough to spend the effort searching for SD-only techniques, but I'm also not sure a DD shuffle would work as well. I don't know which places have weak...
