Yes. And based on the high advantage don't be afraid to through out more than $5. I've hit the QQh with $25 multiple times. zg
Have you tried that "Dealer 20" "Player 20" that they have on some of the tables at Plaza? The payout can be quite large on a matched pair (spotted 10's I think are excluded on the huge payouts). The minimum is $1 on either or both spots.

It would be a reckless bet without a high count, but would seem to be worthy as an "insurance" bet even at the 4:1 minimum for any 2-card twenty.

Its called Royal20s and its even better than LLadies - any 20 pays 5:1. Unfortuneately, myself and several others have burned that bet out and Plaza was the last remaining spot offering it.

One night at Plaza I had a high-plus and spread to two hands - 3 R20 bets @25 each (including one on dealer - 1st hand JJc (25:1), 2nd hand A9h (10:1), dealer hand KKd (25:1)! The previously friendly pit manager grabbed for the phone with a bewildered look, I smiled and told him when he hung up, "See even a blind squirrel finds an occaisional acorn! zg

I've played the R20 (as you clarified) to advantage myself though never to the windfall you managed to hit it! I have seen it in other casinos with one minor little change....you only had a side bet on the players hand. They removed the dealer bet from the options.

If you didn't know the +count strike point you were NOT playing it to advantage. The other version is LLadies. zg

That is a FANTASTIC bet! I created a special counting system for that bet last year. The bet is so profitable that I trained a partner and brought them up to Vegas just to play it. We had a great weekend's worth of play but eventually started getting too much heat. We've been carefully milking it since then.

I was hoping to get some table time with the Grifter since he introduced me to the bet, but he had already been barred by that point. Luckily we were able to catch up later.

I watched Sonny and his partner from a distance as they played the bet for the first time - they looked sooo innocent - seemed like every other time that they made the side bet they would win and yell, "Yeah, suited!" (10:1). zg

zg- have you seen a sim. using a level 2 counting system for LL?
Atlantis in Reno has a 2deck I'd like to try zen or HO2 on.
Ever tried it?

By the way, I read the entire interview. I love reading fascinating stories like that. You've really experienced a lot!

How long ago did you give the interview?

LL for 8 decks

Analysis of Lucky Ladies side bet for card-counting. I won an extra $15,000+ last year with this side-bet. zg

Lucky ladies is now at some of my local casinos but they only have it for 8 decks. At the above site the sim was done for KO 6 decks and you would play LL at a count of +10. Have any sims been done for 8 decks or is there a way to convert the RC from 6 to 8 decks? Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks!

A better system for LL

I suggest using this counting system for FPLL on Double Deck --

A-9 = +1
T-K = -2
First Q of H = -10
Second Q of H = -2

Make the wager with a TC of 11 or higher.

Cheers!

Since its an ub'd count, can you bet LLs in RC mode? Will the RC#s hold up for 6-8D?

I suppose that if someone wanted to use JUST that count on LLs they could also have a playing and betting strategy for that. Its an ub'd 10-point-count. zg
