Analysis of Lucky Ladies

ZG -- it is a balanced count

----------------------------------
For DD...

A-9 (there are 72 of these cards) x +1 = +72
T-K (except QH, there are 30 of these cards) x -2 = -60
First QH = -10
Second QH = -2

(+72) + (-60) + (-10) + (-2) = 0.

---------------------------------
For 6D, use this BALANCED count:

A-9 = +1
T-K = -2
QH = -6
---------------------------------

Could you use this count for making your regular bets i.e. not lucky ladies? If this is only good for LLs then it would be better to use a regular count which isn't as effective with LL right?

In some cases the LL bet is more profitable than the blackjack hands. For that reason some players prefer to use a LL-optimized strategy instead of the traditional card counting systems. Other players just like to suppliment their BJ EV with the side bet so they stick with their regular counting system. The choice is yours.

In a good (deep pene) LL game you cood use the Jacobson LL count - without the Qh values as an unbalanced 10-count/point system for primary playing and betting and just mentally adjust for Qh definciency. zg

(Though I wouldn't personally do it.)

Zen,at a true count of 12 I would hit the table limit 300 ,and I would be at a 5.5% adv using hi/low.
What are the LL payoffs, there? Also, what is your BR size?

Look what Panama Rick's sim says, at +8 your LL advantage is 7% -

Based on your small 7k BR, don't go more than $50 except in monster counts above +10.
As you can see, your LL edge is rising at over 4% per +1 over +7. zg
