At the casinos by me some dealers have their own tip box. They keep those tips, the rest are shared. To get a tip box you have to be really committed though.
Emperor's is good. Got about 4 tables with shoes, one is Sp21 though. Table minimums = R50; Rules: 5 decks, Double any split, split up to 4 times, pen is about 80%

The unit size depends on the bankroll. I may have a $5 unit whereas someone else may have a $100 unit.
And yes it is an estimate - the people base it on the amount of hours played and average hands per hour
I was wondering how exactly your betting spread affects your advantage and how it can be quantified?
For example - I see you guys saying that a 1-2 spread can't beat this and that.
I've come to the conclusion that having a bigger betting spread allows you to win a lot more at the high...

As the title suggests - team play. What are your experiences with it and is it still as viable an option as it used to be?
I'm also new, but been reading up a lot. So far what I've learnt is that basically if your cover is good enough and you aren't getting any heat you can get away with longer sessions and higher bet spreads. So I don't think you should worry too much.
