More hands per hour doesn't mean more money. More hands in +counts means more money. You are better off not playing at all than playing with a disadvantage trying to up your hands per hour.

When you find a holecarding dealer, everything I did was out of whack. Needless to say I went back about 20x during her shift to try and get her again, and she has never dealt bj again...always roulette. I was down a lot of units and was making some pretty "dumb" moves. I did get all of it back...

Personally, if you are more risk averse, I would cut them to the middle/latter part of the shoe. If you are really confident in your ST abilities, cut em to the front. Why play through the deck of small cards? Mistakes in ST can and will cost you a lot of money, so to be sure your deck...

I haven't run any sims, but an educated guess I would say no. How can a negative count make for a good double opportunity? The probability of another low card coming out is greater than that of a X. I'd say you would be seeing a lot of stiff doubles and losing hands quite often.
