A roulette game by Playtech
Playtech's classic single zero roulette with a live dealer, the standard 35 to 1 paytable and a 97.30% return on every bet.
Live Roulette suits players who want plain European roulette with a dealer and nothing added. Every bet returns 97.30%, a 2.70% house edge, so the real choices are which table you sit at and how many spins you play.
Niedrig. Ordinary roulette swings, set by the bet you choose: frequent 1 to 1 wins on red or black, rare 35 to 1 wins on a single number. No feature adds extra swing.
Put chips on numbers 0 to 36 or on outside bets such as red, black, dozens and columns before the betting time runs out.
The dealer spins the ball, which must circle the wheel at least three times for the spin to count. If every player in the round presses Start Spin Now, betting ends early and the spin starts at once.
A straight up win pays 35 to 1 and red or black pays 1 to 1. When zero lands, every even money bet and every 2 to 1 bet loses.
Live Roulette is Playtech’s ordinary European game: a live dealer, a single zero wheel with 37 pockets, and the usual payouts from 35 to 1 on a single number down to 1 to 1 on red or black. There is no side bet, multiplier or bonus round. Playtech’s lobby also lists classic tables for other languages and markets: Arabic Roulette, Bucharest Roulette, Hindi Roulette, Roulette Italiana, Roleta Brasileira, Roleta Canarinho, Ruleta Clasica, Deutsches Roulette and UK Roulette. Each table’s help screen shows its own rules and limits.
Once your bets are down you can press Start Spin Now. If every player in the round presses it, betting closes and the dealer spins straight away; if anyone does not, the round runs to the end of the normal betting time. The button only shortens the wait. It does not change any payout or the odds of any number.
Each number has a 1 in 37 chance per spin. A split pays 17 to 1, a street 11 to 1, a corner 8 to 1 and a six number line 5 to 1, while dozens and columns pay 2 to 1. Playtech’s rules give the game a 97.3% return, so every bet carries the same 2.70% house edge. Zero is a straight loss for outside bets here: there is no La Partage on this table.
The wheel has 37 pockets: the numbers 1 to 36 and a single zero. The game's rules list every bet and its payout, and what each bet pays back over time. Every figure below comes from those numbers.
Tap a number for a straight up bet, a line between two numbers for a split, a corner for four numbers, or the edge next to the dozens for a street or six line. Add as many bets as you like.
The green pocket is not red, black, odd, even, high or low, so every outside bet loses when it lands. That is where the house edge comes from.

Your chance, payout and cost per spin will show here. Over many spins these bets lose about a spin on average, of your stake, even though a single spin leaves you ahead of the time. These bets can never finish a spin ahead, only break even or lose, and over many spins they lose about a spin on average, of your stake. A winning straight up pays 35 to 1, which on its own gives back 97.30% of what you stake; the bonus games add more, but how much is not published, so the true cost of these bets is not known.

"A fair price" is the payout that would make a bet break even over time: the pockets it loses on for each pocket it wins on. Every payout here is below it.
2.70% Hausvorteil
One green pocket out of 37. $1 on red for 100 spins costs about $2.70 on average.
5.26% Hausvorteil
Two green pockets out of 38, almost double the cost: about $5.26 per 100 spins of $1 on red. The five number bet (0, 00, 1, 2, 3) costs even more, 7.89%.
Live Roulette is Playtech's standard single zero table with a live dealer. Start Spin Now can shorten the wait between rounds, but nothing on the table changes a payout. Every bet returns 97.30%, so no bet is cheaper than another: a 35 to 1 straight up and an even money red are priced the same, they just win at very different rates.
The rules at your casino may show different figures; its in game help is the version that applies to you.
No. Every bet on Live Roulette returns 97.30%, so no choice of bet lowers the 2.70% edge. What you can change is how many spins you play and how quickly they come.
Lucky Dip places straight up bets on 5, 7 or 8 random numbers for you. Random numbers carry the same 1 in 37 chance and the same 2.70% edge as numbers you pick yourself.
When every player presses it, the dealer spins without waiting for the betting time to run out. Shorter rounds mean more spins an hour, and each spin costs the same 2.70% of what you stake.
If you do not press it, the round keeps its full betting time, which keeps the number of spins an hour down.
The tables differ in language and betting limits, not in price. The help screen of each table lists its own limits.

Playtech’s rules give 97.3%. On a single zero wheel with standard payouts that is the return on every bet, a 2.70% house edge.
It lets the table skip the rest of the betting time. When every player in the round has pressed it, betting ends and the dealer spins at once.

Even money bets such as red or black lose, and so do dozens and columns. Only bets that cover zero win.
Each number has a 1 in 37 chance per spin, and red or black covers 18 of the 37 pockets. Every bet returns 97.30%, a 2.70% house edge.
No. Every bet returns 97.30%, so no pattern of bets beats the edge. Start Spin Now and Lucky Dip change your pace and your picks, never the price of a bet.
