Alto. Most inside wins pay less than on a standard table, and the Millionaire round can pay anywhere from 9 to 1 to 1,999 to 1 on a straight up. Outside bets pay as normal.

How Millionaire Roulette works

1 Inside bets qualify

Place your bets

Bet on the single zero layout. Straight ups, splits, streets, corners and lines on a Millionaire number can win its feature.

2 1 to 5, or 10

Millionaire numbers appear

Once the round starts, 1 to 5 numbers, or sometimes 10, get a symbol: a 100x, a bronze or gold Millionaire Logo, or a blue or purple question mark.

3 29:1 or a feature

The ball decides

A win on a Millionaire number pays its symbol: 100 times the stake, a Millionaire round, or a question mark choice. Other inside wins pay the reduced table, 29 to 1 on a straight up.

The Millionaire round

A Millionaire Logo on the winning number starts the Millionaire round: a bronze logo gives a ladder of 8 questions, a gold one 10. At each level you pick A, B, C or D. Each hides a multiplier that is added to your total as you climb, but an X can be hidden too, and picking it ends the round with what you have collected so far. If you do not choose in time, the game picks for you.

A question mark offers a choice first. A blue one gives a round worth up to 150x or a fixed 50x; a purple one a round worth up to 300x or a fixed 100x. The round is preselected because the rules say it returns more over the long run, but you can take the fixed amount instead. The 100x symbol needs no round at all: it pays 100 times the stake on that number.

Lifelines

During the round a lifeline can switch on at random. 50:50 removes the two lowest multipliers. Ask the Audience picks the option with the highest multiplier for you; there is no real audience, the game server decides. Ask the Host removes the options with the lowest multipliers, and removes fewer the higher you are on the ladder. Each lifeline appears at most once per level and once per round, and not every round gets all three.

Stake shares and the paytable

Ordinary inside wins pay 29 to 1 on a straight up, 14 to 1 on a split, 9 to 1 on a street, 6.5 to 1 on a corner and 4 to 1 on a line, below a standard table. That difference funds the features. A straight up takes its whole stake into the Millionaire round; a split takes half, a street a third, a corner a quarter and a line a sixth, which is why their ranges are smaller. Outside bets pay as normal. Playtech gives 97.29% for the game, not a figure for each bet.

The math behind Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? Roulette

Playtech gives 97.29% for the game, but no return for each bet and no odds for the symbols or the hidden multipliers on the ladder. These are the figures that are published.

A straight up bet wins on 1 of 37 pockets (2.70%), and its ordinary 29 to 1 payout returns only 81.08% of what you stake on its own. The rest of a straight up bet's value comes from the 100x symbol, the question marks and the Millionaire round, and how often each appears is not published.

The green pocket is not red, black, odd, even, high or low, so every outside bet loses when it lands. That is where the house edge comes from.

Is there a Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? Roulette strategy?

Mostly no. Millionaire numbers are drawn at random and the ladder hides its multipliers, but there is one real choice: on a question mark, the rules preselect the Millionaire round because it returns more over time than the fixed 50x or 100x.

    A, B, C or D is a guess

Each option hides a multiplier or an X, and nothing on screen tells them apart. When a lifeline appears it does the sorting for you.

The ladder can pay less than a normal win

In the Millionaire round a straight up is paid 9 to 1 up to 1,999 to 1, so an early X can leave you below the 29 to 1 an ordinary straight up win pays.

    What you can control

Round or fixed on a question mark

Blue offers a fixed 50x or a round worth up to 150x; purple a fixed 100x or up to 300x. The round is the better average, the fixed amount the sure one.

Straight ups carry the full stake

A split, street, corner or line takes only a half, a third, a quarter or a sixth of its stake into the Millionaire round, so its ladder pays less per chip.

Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? Roulette PREGUNTAS FRECUENTES

How do you get to the Millionaire round?

Win an inside bet on a number carrying a Millionaire Logo, bronze for 8 questions or gold for 10. A winning question mark number also offers the round, against a fixed 50x or 100x.

What do the lifelines do in Millionaire Roulette?

50:50 removes the two lowest multipliers, Ask the Audience picks the highest one for you, and Ask the Host removes the lowest options, fewer at higher levels. They switch on at random, at most once each per round.

Can I play along without a bet?

Yes. Players without a qualifying bet, or who took the fixed 50x or 100x, watch the Millionaire round and can still pick A, B, C or D for fun. Nothing is staked or paid.

What is the most you can win in Millionaire Roulette?

In the Millionaire round a straight up pays up to 1,999 to 1. A split tops out at 999 to 1 and a line at 332.33 to 1, because they take a smaller share of their stake into the round.

What is the RTP of Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? Roulette?

Playtech’s rules give 97.29% for the game. There is no separate figure for each bet, the 100x symbol or the Millionaire round.

Should I take the fixed multiplier or the Millionaire round?

The rules preselect the round because it returns more over the long run. The fixed 50x or 100x is the certain option; the round can pay up to 150x or 300x, or less if you hit an X early.
