Comment MONOPOLY Big Baller œuvres

MONOPOLY Big Baller is a live ball draw played with bingo style cards. Twenty balls come out of the machine, your cards mark themselves, and two side bets lead to a dice trip around a 3D MONOPOLY board.

1

Pick your cards

During the betting countdown, bet on one to four cards. Choose Free Space (center square free) or Chance (a multiplier in the center).

2

Watch the draw

Mr Monopoly adds random free squares and multipliers to your cards, then 20 of 60 balls are drawn and your numbers mark themselves.

3

Lines win, ROLLS go to the board

Complete a line and that card wins. If all the numbers for 3 ROLLS or 5 ROLLS come up and you backed it, Mr Monopoly rolls the dice around the board for you.

An example round

Say you play one $1 Free Space card and put $1 on 3 ROLLS, $2 in all.

  • Your card completes one plain line: a winning card with no multiplier pays 3 times your bet, so $3 back. If 3 ROLLS missed, you end $1 up.
  • The line has a 10x multiplier on it: the multiplier replaces the plain payout, so $10 back. You end $8 up.
  • All three 3 ROLLS numbers come up: Mr Monopoly rolls the dice three times around the board for you.
  • No line and no 3 ROLLS: both bets lose.

Good to know

The two card types cost the same over time: Free Space wins lines more often, Chance pays more when it does. And every extra card adds its full stake to the round.

The math behind MONOPOLY Big Baller

20 of 60 numbered balls are drawn each round, and your 5 by 5 card carries numbers from 1 to 60. The game's rules give the ball counts, the payouts and what each bet pays back over time. The chances below are worked out from the drawn balls alone.

Chance card

No free square, but the center always carries a multiplier.

RTP
96.10%

The two cards cost the same over time: both return 96.10%. What differs is the ride. The free center square makes lines about twice as likely, but they pay less; the Chance card wins less often, with a multiplier guaranteed in the center. A card that wins with no multiplier pays 3x your bet, and each extra plain line adds the same again. The "at least" figures count only the drawn balls; the random free squares added before the draw can only add lines.

Each of your numbers has a 33.33% chance of being drawn. The bonus board plays like MONOPOLY Live's: doubles earn an extra roll, passing GO doubles later prizes, the tax squares take 10% or 20%, and property multipliers range from 1x to 500x. Board prize values are not published.

Is there a MONOPOLY Big Baller strategy?

Not one that beats the house edge. The two card types cost the same, so the real choices are which ride you want and whether the ROLLS bets are worth their higher price.

The ROLLS bets cost more than the cards

The cards return 96.10%, the best on the table: about $96.10 back for every $100 staked over time. The bonus bets return less, down to 95.20% on 5 ROLLS.

Four cards cost four times as much

Playing four cards instead of one makes a winning line more likely each round, but you pay the edge on all four stakes. The cost stays at 3.90% of everything you put on cards, whatever the mix.

What starts the 5 ROLLS bonus?

All four of its numbers have to come up, and you need a chip on 5 ROLLS.

Can the board take money away?

Yes. Income Tax takes 10% and Super Tax 20% of your bonus winnings, if they allow it, and Chance or Community Chest can charge a fee.

What are the odds in MONOPOLY Big Baller?

Twenty of 60 balls are drawn, so each of your numbers has a 33.33% chance.
