Devriez-vous y jouer ?

Gold Vault Roulette suits players who like a multiplier reveal on every spin. It is not a cheaper game: an ordinary straight up win pays 24:1, straight up bets return 97.10%, and every other bet keeps the usual 97.30%.

Écoutez-le si

  • You bet straight up numbers and want a multiplier chance every round
  • You enjoy a dealer and a vault reveal more than a plain table
  • You want a single zero wheel

Profil de variance

Élevé. Ordinary straight up wins pay 24:1 rather than 35:1, and the difference comes back as rare gold bar wins of 50x to 500x. Outside bets pay as normal and swing no more than usual.

Comment Gold Vault Roulette œuvres

1 Betting open

Place your bets

Choose your bets before betting closes. Only straight up bets can collect a gold bar payout.

2 5 to 20 bars

The vault opens

After the spin, the dealer opens four vault doors. Each gold bar is a 50x multiplier dropped on a random number; up to three can stack for 150x, and one purple bar is worth 500x.

3 24:1 ordinarily

The ball decides

A straight up win on a gold bar number pays its multiplier. Any other straight up win pays 24:1, and the other bets pay their usual amounts.

What is in the vault

Gold Vault Roulette is a single zero game with a live dealer. Once the ball is spinning, the dealer opens four vault doors one by one to show how many gold bars are in play, from 5 to 20. Each gold bar is a 50x multiplier and is placed on a random number. If two or three land on the same number they stack, up to 150x. Sometimes a purple gold bar worth 500x is revealed as well; there is never more than one a round, and it never stacks with the 50x bars.

Who gets paid the multiplier

Only a straight up bet on the winning number collects its gold bar payout. Splits, corners, dozens, red and black pay their usual amounts and never receive a multiplier. A straight up win on a number without a gold bar pays 24:1, not the 35:1 of a standard table. That reduction is what pays for the gold bars.

What it costs

A straight up bet returns 97.10% and every other bet 97.30%. So the gold bars do not make the game cheaper; straight up bets cost a little more than the rest. The math section below shows how much of a straight up bet’s value comes from the gold bars.

The math behind Gold Vault Roulette

The wheel has 37 pockets: the numbers 1 to 36 and a single zero. The game's rules list every bet and its payout, and what each bet pays back over time. Every figure below comes from those numbers.

Try it: place your bets

Tap a number for a straight up bet, a line between two numbers for a split, a corner for four numbers, or the edge next to the dozens for a street or six line. Add as many bets as you like.

0321654987121110151413181716212019242322272625302928333231363534

The green pocket is not red, black, odd, even, high or low, so every outside bet loses when it lands. That is where the house edge comes from.

"A fair price" is the payout that would make a bet break even over time: the pockets it loses on for each pocket it wins on. Every payout here is below it.

    One zero or two

    Ce tableau

    Single zero, 37 pockets

    2.70% avantage de la maison

One green pocket out of 37. $1 on red for 100 spins costs about $2.70 on average.

    Double zero, 38 pockets

    5.26% avantage de la maison

Two green pockets out of 38, almost double the cost: about $5.26 per 100 spins of $1 on red. The five number bet (0, 00, 1, 2, 3) costs even more, 7.89%.

What the gold bars are worth

An ordinary straight up win pays 24 to 1 here, not 35 to 1, so on its own it returns only 67.57% (25 ÷ 37). The published return on a straight up bet is 97.10%. The other 29.53 points come from the gold bar multipliers.

After the spin, the dealer opens four vault doors to reveal 5 to 20 gold bars, each a 50x multiplier, placed on random numbers. Up to three can land on one number for 150x, and a single purple 500x bar can appear in a round. A winning straight up bet on a gold bar number is paid its multiplier instead of 24 to 1.

Averaged over every win, that means a winning straight up bet pays about 34.93 to 1, a little below the 35 to 1 of an ordinary table: the big multipliers are paid for by all the ordinary 24 to 1 wins.

Every other bet keeps its normal payout and returns 97.30%, which makes every other bet 0.20 points cheaper than straight up. Outside bets are not touched by the feature at all.

Is there a Gold Vault Roulette strategy?

No. Gold bars are placed on random numbers after the spin and pay only straight up bets, which return 97.10%; every other bet returns 97.30%.

You cannot aim for the bars

The four vault doors open after the ball is spun, so no number can be chosen for its gold. Every number keeps its 1 in 37 chance.

    Gold Vault Roulette FAQ

How many gold bars can land in a round?

Between 5 and 20, each worth 50x. Up to three can land on the same number for 150x. One purple 500x bar can also appear, at most once a round.

What does an ordinary straight up win pay?

It pays 24:1 when your number has no gold bar. That is below the standard 35:1, and the difference funds the gold bar payouts.

Can red or black win a multiplier?

No. Gold bars only pay on winning straight up bets. Outside bets pay their usual amounts and return 97.30%.

Is Gold Vault Roulette the same as Gold Bar Roulette?

No. In Gold Bar Roulette you win 88x Gold Bars and choose where to place them later. In Gold Vault Roulette the 50x and 500x bars are placed on random numbers every round.

What are the odds in Gold Vault Roulette?

Each number has a 1 in 37 chance (2.70%) whether or not a bar lands on it, and red or black wins 48.65% of spins. Straight up returns 97.10%, gold bars included, and every other bet 97.30%.

What is the best bet in Gold Vault Roulette?

On cost, anything but straight up: every other bet returns 97.30%, a 2.70% edge, while straight up costs 2.90% to fund the gold bars. Only straight up bets can collect a gold bar, and no bet beats break even over time.
