A baccarat game by Playtech
Playtech's classic live baccarat: eight decks, Banker at 0.95 to 1 after a 5% commission, and six side bets plus Specific Tie.
A plain baccarat table for players who want the standard paytable. Banker returns the most at 98.94%, so the main decision is whether to add any of the side bets, which all return less.
Basso. Banker and Player settle near even money and push on a Tie, so results move in small steps. Tie at 8 to 1 and Specific Tie at up to 220 to 1 swing far more.
Payouts below describe winning profit. A winning bet normally also returns its stake, with exceptions shown in the settlement column. Commission and additional fees must also be accounted for.

A larger payout is not a better return by itself. The cost depends on how often that bet wins and on every commission, reduced payout and fee that applies.
RTP figures are Playtech's published figures from the game rules, which give both the payout schedules and the published returns.
These are Playtech's published RTP figures from the game rules. RTP is a long run return figure, not the chance of winning a round or a forecast for your session. The house edge is what is left: 100% minus the RTP.

Not one that beats the house edge. The draws are fixed, so your only choices are the bet and the stake, and every bet returns less than 100%. Banker returns the most, at 98.94%.
Banker pays 0.95 to 1 and still returns 98.94%, against 98.76% on Player at 1 to 1. Paying the 5% commission is the cheaper way to play.
Tie returns 85.64% at 8 to 1. The pair bets return 86.29% to 89.64%, and Big and Small 94.72% to 95.65%. Specific Tie has no published RTP at all.
Playtech's published RTP, best first. A shorter bar gives back more.
Side bets can be placed with or without a Player or Banker bet. Keeping to Banker or Player keeps you on the two highest returns at the table.
Pairs, Big, Small and Specific Tie close once two decks have been dealt from the shoe, so they are only on offer early in each shoe.

Bet on Banker, Player or Tie before the timer runs out. Side bets can be placed with a main bet or on their own.
The dealer gives each hand two cards face up, and the draw table decides any third card. A two card 8 or 9 on either hand ends the round.
Player pays 1 to 1, Banker 0.95 to 1 and Tie 8 to 1. On a Tie, Player and Banker bets are returned.
Playtech deals this game from an eight deck shoe, and the shoe is replaced once the eight decks are played out. Player pays 1 to 1. Banker pays 0.95 to 1, which is a 5% commission on the win. Tie pays 8 to 1, and when the hands tie, Player and Banker bets are returned.
The game has one betting position that any number of players can join, and it can also be run as a seven seat table. Playtech offers it at several tables, including Grand Baccarat, Jade Baccarat, VIP Baccarat and Live Baccarat tables for New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The figures on this page are from the rules of the main Baccarat table, and the in game help at each table is the version that applies.
Aces count as 1, cards 2 through 9 at face value, and tens and face cards as zero. Keep the last digit of the total, so a 7 and a 6 count as 3. A two card 8 or 9 on either hand ends the round. Otherwise Player draws on 0 through 5 and stands on 6 or 7. If Player stands, Banker draws on 0 through 5. If Player draws, Banker follows this table.
| Banker total | Draw when Player’s third card is |
|---|---|
| 0, 1 or 2 | Any card |
| 3 | Any card except 8 |
| 4 | 2 through 7 |
| 5 | 4 through 7 |
| 6 | 6 or 7 |
| 7 | No draw |
Player Pair and Banker Pair pay 11 to 1 when that hand’s first two cards are a pair. Either Pair pays 5 to 1 if either hand starts with a pair, and Perfect Pair pays 25 to 1 when Player’s or Banker’s first two cards are a same suit pair. Big pays 0.54 to 1 when five or six cards are dealt in the round, and Small pays 1.5 to 1 when only four are.
Specific Tie bets name the total of the tie. A tie on 0 pays 150 to 1, on 1 pays 215 to 1, on 2 pays 220 to 1, on 3 pays 200 to 1, on 4 pays 120 to 1, on 5 pays 110 to 1, on 6 or 7 pays 45 to 1 and on 8 or 9 pays 80 to 1. The rules do not publish an RTP for these bets. All side bets close once two decks have been dealt from the shoe.
Playtech’s rules publish 98.94% for Banker, 98.76% for Player and 85.64% for Tie. The side bets return between 86.29% (Either Pair) and 95.65% (Big).
A winning Banker bet pays 0.95 to 1, which is a 5% commission on the win. Banker still has the highest published return, 98.94%.
Player and Banker bets are returned, and a Tie bet pays 8 to 1.
Side bets close once two decks have been dealt from the eight deck shoe.
It depends on the tied total: from 45 to 1 on a tie on 6 or 7 up to 220 to 1 on a tie on 2. The rules do not publish an RTP for Specific Tie.
The classic game runs at tables including Grand, Jade and VIP Baccarat and the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia tables. This page uses the main Baccarat table’s rules, so check the in game help at each table.
