Online Casinos and Jamaica: What Is Actually Legal, and How You Would Pay

Every casino here accepts Jamaican players and has been tested by our team with our own money: we deposit, play, cash out and time the payout. 1 of the 159 casinos we have reviewed take players from Jamaica.

Opening an account through a link on this page may earn us a commission. It never changes a casino's rating or where it ranks: every casino here is scored the same way, on testing we run with our own money. See exactly how we rate. If a casino will not pay out, you can escalate it through our complaint channel.

Ratings, bonus terms and payment routes are recomputed from our own review database, and every casino here was tested with our own money.

How we rate casinos

No casino can pay for a rating, and a rating falls the moment the experience does. Every score on this site comes out of the same five steps, run with our own money.

  1. 1

    Verify the licence

We check the casino against its regulator's own register before anything else. A casino with no verifiable licence is never listed at all.

  2. 2

    Deposit and play

Real account, real money. We test the cashier both ways, the lobby's actual provider list, and how support answers when something snags.

  3. 3

    Cash out and clock it

The withdrawal times in our reviews are measured from request to money arriving, not quoted from the casino's marketing page.

  4. 4

    Read every term

Wagering, maximum cashouts, maximum bets, excluded countries and win caps: we publish what the small print says, next to the offer it applies to.

  5. 5

    Keep watching

Our complaint channel stays open on every listed casino. Slowing payouts, tightened terms or stonewalled players re-score the review downward.

What earns points

  • A licence we could verify with a first-tier regulator
  • Withdrawals that arrived faster than the casino promised
  • Payment methods that pay back out, not just in
  • Games from audited providers, live dealers included
  • Bonus terms a normal player can actually clear

What costs points

  • Withdrawal fees, low cashout caps, or manual review delays
  • Wagering above 60x, which we treat as unpayable
  • Win caps buried in the general terms
  • Card-only cashiers with no route back out
  • Complaints answered with silence

Paying in and getting paid in Jamaica

23 payment methods work at the 1 casinos open to Jamaican players. 19 can pay you back out. The other 4 only take money in.

4 of these methods cannot pay you out

These take deposits but cannot pay out: MasterCard (at 1 of the 1 casinos), MoonPay (1), Sandbox (1) and VCreditos (1).

Nothing is wrong with depositing that way, but you need a second method lined up for withdrawals, and casinos often require you to verify it first. Choose your payout route before you deposit, not after you win.

If gambling stops being fun

Casino games are entertainment with a built-in house edge: over time the casino wins. If you find yourself chasing losses, hiding your play, or spending money you need elsewhere, treat that as a signal to stop and get support.

Tools in your casino account

  • Deposit limits: cap what you can pay in per day, week or month
  • Time-outs: lock your account for a short break
  • Self-exclusion: close your account for months or permanently

These live in your account settings, and support chat can apply them if you ask.

Free, confidential help in Jamaica

Jamaica has no single dedicated gambling helpline and no national self-exclusion register, so RISE and the Ministry of Health line above are its real support. No Jamaican scheme reaches an offshore casino, so a self-exclusion set in the casino's own account settings is the only one that will hold at the casino on this page.

You must be 18 or older to gamble in Jamaica.

Jamaica online casino FAQ

Is it legal to play at an online casino in Jamaica?

There is no simple yes or no. Jamaica licenses betting and, since 2026, land-based resort casinos, but it does not license online casinos at all, so the one casino here is offshore. Playing at it is a grey area rather than an offence for you: the law's offences target unlicensed operators, and there is no known record of a Jamaican being prosecuted for playing offshore. What you lose is protection, because no Jamaican regulator stands behind an offshore site.

Can I pay in Jamaican dollars or with a local method?

No. The casino here does not take the Jamaican dollar, a Lynk or JAM-DEX wallet, or any local rail. It runs on cryptocurrency, with a MasterCard accepted for deposits only. In practice you would need a crypto wallet to cash out, so if you do not already use crypto this casino will not match how you normally move money.

Do I pay tax on casino winnings in Jamaica?

Not as an ordinary player. Jamaica taxes gambling operators through gaming duties, and there is no withholding tax on recreational gambling winnings. Your own tax position is a question for a Jamaican tax adviser rather than something the casino handles for you.

What is the difference between the Casino Gaming Commission and the BGLC?

They regulate different things. The Casino Gaming Commission licenses land-based casino gaming inside large resort developments under the Casino Gaming Act 2010. The Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission licenses betting, gaming machines and lotteries, including a small number of online betting operators. Neither licenses an online casino, which is why online casino play in Jamaica happens at offshore sites.

How old do you have to be to gamble in Jamaica?

You must be 18 or older to bet or play casino games in Jamaica, and casinos verify your age and identity before paying out.

How many online casinos accept Jamaican players?

1 of the 159 casinos we have reviewed accept players from Jamaica. With just one, there is nothing to rank it against; it is shown here as a single, clearly-caveated option, not a "best of" list.

Which payment methods can actually pay me out in Jamaica?

19 of the 23 methods available at these casinos can send money back to you; the other 4 only take deposits, including MasterCard, MoonPay and Sandbox. Pick your withdrawal route before you deposit, because casinos usually make you verify it first.
