Should you play it?

Mega Roulette 3000 is the bigger, swingier version of Mega Roulette. Straight up bets chase multipliers of up to 3,000x, but an ordinary straight up win pays only 19 to 1, so most of the value sits in rare wins. Outside bets are untouched and cost the usual 2.70%.

Play it if

  • You bet straight up numbers and want the biggest multipliers in Pragmatic's roulette range
  • You like seeing several lucky numbers light up every round
  • You want a single zero wheel

Variance profile

High. An ordinary straight up win pays 19 to 1, barely half the standard 35 to 1, and the rest of the value comes back in rare multiplier wins of up to 3,000x. Expect long runs where straight up chips return little.

How Mega Roulette 3000 works

1 Every standard bet

Place your bets

Bet inside or outside as on any single zero table. Mega Bets put one straight up chip on every number of a group in one tap.

2 1 to 8 numbers

Mega Lucky Numbers

When betting closes, between one and eight numbers are picked at random and each gets a Mega Multiplier from 50x to 3,000x.

3 19:1 or up to 3,000x

The ball decides

A straight up win on a Mega Lucky Number pays its multiplier. Any other straight up win pays 19 to 1, and every other bet pays its usual amount.

How it differs from Mega Roulette

Mega Roulette 3000 keeps the idea of the original: a single zero wheel, every standard bet, and Mega Lucky Numbers that pay a multiplier on straight up bets. It turns every dial up. Each round between one and eight numbers light up instead of one to five, and the multipliers run from 50x to 3,000x instead of 50x to 500x. To pay for that, an ordinary straight up win drops from 29 to 1 to 19 to 1.

Who gets the multiplier

Only straight up bets can win a Mega Multiplier. If the ball lands on a Mega Lucky Number and you have a straight up chip there, that chip is paid the multiplier instead of the regular payout. Splits, streets, corners, dozens, columns and the even money bets always pay their usual amounts, so they cost the standard 2.70% of every stake over time.

What it costs

Pragmatic’s launch announcement gives Mega Roulette 3000 a maximum RTP of 97.50%. Its game rules leave the return to each casino’s settings, so check the figure in the game help at your table. What is fixed is the shape of the game: a 19 to 1 ordinary payout means a straight up chip returns only 54.05% of its stake from ordinary wins, and everything else comes from the multipliers.

The math behind Mega Roulette 3000

Pragmatic's game rules leave the return of each bet to the casino's settings, and the launch announcement gives only a maximum RTP of 97.50%. These are the figures that are published.

A straight up bet wins on 1 of 37 pockets (2.70%), and its ordinary 19 to 1 payout returns only 54.05% of what you stake on its own. The Mega Multipliers supply the rest of a straight up bet's value, and the share they add depends on the casino's settings.

The green pocket is not red, black, odd, even, high or low, so every outside bet loses when it lands. That is where the house edge comes from.

Is there a Mega Roulette 3000 strategy?

No. The Mega Lucky Numbers are drawn after betting closes, every number keeps its 1 in 37 chance, and outside bets cost a fixed 2.70% whatever you do.

You cannot aim for the multipliers

The lucky numbers appear only once betting has closed, so no number can be chosen for its multiplier, and a number that was lucky last round is no more likely to win this one.

19 to 1 is the price of 3,000x

Ordinary straight up wins return only 54.05% of the stake on their own. The rest depends on rare multiplier wins, so short sessions on straight up bets usually lose more than the long run average suggests.

    What you can control

    Straight up or outside

Only straight up chips can hit a multiplier. Outside bets win far more often, never get one, and cost 2.70%.

    Budget for dry spells

Decide before you start how many rounds of straight up chips you can lose in a row, and stop there. A big multiplier is never due.

Play for fun, with money you can afford to lose. Set a time and money limit before you start and keep to it. If gambling stops being fun or you feel the urge to chase losses, take a break and get support: see our problem gambling help page.

What does an ordinary straight up win pay?

What is the difference between Mega Roulette and Mega Roulette 3000?

Mega Roulette has one to five lucky numbers worth 50x to 500x and pays 29 to 1 ordinarily. Mega Roulette 3000 has up to eight worth 50x to 3,000x and pays 19 to 1 ordinarily.

What is the RTP of Mega Roulette 3000?

What are the odds in Mega Roulette 3000?

Each number has a 1 in 37 chance (2.70%) whether or not it is a Mega Lucky Number, and red or black wins 48.65% of spins. Outside bets cost a 2.70% house edge; the straight up return depends on the casino’s settings, with a stated maximum of 97.50%.

Is there a Mega Roulette 3000 strategy that works?

No. The lucky numbers are drawn after betting closes, so you cannot pick them, and no pattern of bets changes the edge on outside bets.
