How Wonderland Lucky Ball works
Wonderland Lucky Ball is a live ball draw from Playtech's Wonderland series: 20 of 60 balls come out of the draw machine onto number cards, and bonus cards lead to a digital Wonderland wheel.
Pick your cards
During the countdown, put chips on any of the eight 4x4 number cards and on the three bonus cards: 2 Wonderspins, 5 Wonderspins and 4 Walterspins.
Lucky Balls and boosts
Before the draw, 11 of the 60 numbers become Lucky Balls placed on the cards. Up to 9 cards may also get a Bubble Boost multiplier, and a bonus card may get a Free Ball.
20 balls are drawn
Complete a row, column or diagonal on a main card to win, with Lucky Balls on the line raising the payout. A bonus card whose Lucky Ball numbers are all drawn plays the bonus wheel after the main game.
Lucky Balls, Bubble Boosts and the Free Ball
Before the draw, 11 of the 60 numbers are picked at random as Lucky Balls and placed on the main cards and the bonus cards. A plain line on a main card pays 2 to 1 and up; a line that includes Lucky Balls pays up to 39 to 1 with one, 74 to 1 with two, 124 to 1 with three and 499 to 1 with four.
After betting closes, 1 to 9 cards can get a Bubble Boost: 2x to 5x on a main card, which multiplies that card’s wins, or 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 8x on a bonus card, which multiplies all its bonus multipliers. In some rounds a Lucky Ball on the 2 Wonderspins or 5 Wonderspins card turns into a Free Ball and is marked at once, so that card needs one fewer number. The same number is not marked on the main cards; it still has to be drawn there.
The bonus wheel
The bonus games use a digital wheel with two rings. The outer ring has 54 sectors: 18 Mad Hatter at 2x, 12 Dormouse at 3x, 10 Dodo at 5x, 7 Queen of Hearts at 8x, 4 Cheshire Cat at 12x, 1 White Rabbit at 50x, and 2 Eat Me, which raise every character’s base multiplier by 1 and add a spin. On each spin the inner ring adds 2, 5, 8 or 10 to the outer ring multipliers, or awards an extra spin. 2 Wonderspins needs all three of its Lucky Ball numbers drawn and spins twice; 5 Wonderspins needs all four and spins five times; 4 Walterspins needs all four and spins four times. On every bonus card the stake is not returned.
A Walterspins example
Say you have $2 on 4 Walterspins and all four of its numbers are drawn. On a spin where the outer ring stops on Dormouse at 3x and the inner ring shows 8, that spin is worth 11x. During the spins Walter the Caterpillar blows three bubbles worth 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x, and you pick one at the end. If that 11x is the bonus result and your bubble reveals 4x, it becomes 44x and pays $88. Had the card started with a 5x Bubble Boost, it would be 220x, or $440. The $2 stake is not returned.
