How Auto Roulette works
Bet before the timer ends
The time left for betting is shown on screen. Place chips on numbers 0 to 36 or on outside bets before it runs out.
The wheel fires the ball
When betting time is up, the wheel launches the ball by itself. The ball must circle the wheel at least three times for the spin to count.
Settle the spin
A straight up win pays 35 to 1, a split 17 to 1 and red or black 1 to 1. Even money and 2 to 1 bets lose when zero lands.
Roulette without a dealer spin
Auto Roulette is played digitally on a single zero wheel that spins and launches the ball automatically as soon as the betting time ends. Playtech’s rules add that the game can also be run by a dealer. Playtech’s lobby lists the game as Auto Roulette, Auto Roulette 2, Slingshot Ruleta España and Speed Auto Roulette tables; each table’s help screen shows its own limits.
Same paytable as a dealer table
The wheel has 37 pockets, the numbers 1 to 36 and one green zero. Payouts run from 35 to 1 for a single number through 11 to 1 for a street and 5 to 1 for a six number line, to 2 to 1 for dozens and columns and 1 to 1 for red, black, odd, even, 1 to 18 and 19 to 36. Playtech’s rules give a 97.3% return, so every bet costs the same 2.70%.
Pace is the cost
Each spin costs, on average, 2.70% of what you stake on it. An automatic wheel keeps rounds coming on a timer, and the rules do not publish how long a round takes, so watch the clock for a few rounds to see how many spins an hour you are playing. At 1 unit a spin, every 37 spins cost about 1 unit on average.
