A roulette game by Playtech
Playtech's live single zero roulette with La Partage: even money bets lose only half on zero, for a 98.65% return on those bets.
French Roulette is the Playtech table to pick if you bet red, black, odd, even, 1 to 18 or 19 to 36. Those bets return 98.65%, half the house edge of every other bet, which keeps the usual 97.30%.
Низький. Ordinary single zero swings. On zero an even money bet loses half its stake rather than all of it, so those bets swing slightly less than on a standard table.
Bet on numbers 0 to 36 or on the outside bets, named in French and English: Rouge and Noir, Pair and Impair, Manque and Passe. A racetrack offers ready made neighbor bets.
Once betting time ends, a dealer spins the ball on a single zero wheel.
Winning bets pay 35 to 1 down to 1 to 1. If zero lands, even money bets lose half their stake and the other half comes back, while dozens and columns lose.
French Roulette is a single zero game with a live dealer and the standard payouts. The difference is what happens on zero. Even money bets, Rouge and Noir (red and black), Pair and Impair (even and odd), Manque and Passe (1 to 18 and 19 to 36), lose only half their stake, and you get the other half back. Dozens and columns pay 2 to 1 and lose in full on zero, as do inside bets that do not cover it.
Halving the loss on zero halves the edge on those bets. Playtech’s rules give a 98.65% return on even money bets and 97.30% on every other bet, the usual 2.70% edge on a single zero wheel. La Partage only pays off for players who use the even money bets.
| Ставлю | Платить | When zero lands | RTP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Even money bets | 1:1 | Half the stake back | 98.65% |
| Dozens and columns | 2:1 | Lose | 97.30% |
| Inside bets | 35:1 to 5:1 | Win only if they cover zero | 97.30% |
The table shows French and English bet names side by side: Plein for a straight up, Cheval for a split, Transversale pleine for a street, Carré for a corner, Sixain for a six number line, and Douzaine and Colonne for dozens and columns. The first four numbers, 0, 1, 2 and 3, can be covered with one Carré that pays 8 to 1.
The wheel has 37 pockets: the numbers 1 to 36 and a single zero. The game's rules list every bet and its payout, and what each bet pays back over time. Every figure below comes from those numbers.
Tap a number for a straight up bet, a line between two numbers for a split, a corner for four numbers, or the edge next to the dozens for a street or six line. Add as many bets as you like.
The green pocket is not red, black, odd, even, high or low, so every outside bet loses when it lands. That is where the house edge comes from.

Your chance, payout and cost per spin will show here. Over many spins these bets lose about a spin on average, of your stake, even though a single spin leaves you ahead of the time. These bets can never finish a spin ahead, only break even or lose, and over many spins they lose about a spin on average, of your stake. A winning straight up pays 35 to 1, which on its own gives back 97.30% of what you stake; the bonus games add more, but how much is not published, so the true cost of these bets is not known.

"A fair price" is the payout that would make a bet break even over time: the pockets it loses on for each pocket it wins on. Every payout here is below it.
2.70% край будинку
One green pocket out of 37. $1 on red for 100 spins costs about $2.70 on average.
5.26% край будинку
Two green pockets out of 38, almost double the cost: about $5.26 per 100 spins of $1 on red. The five number bet (0, 00, 1, 2, 3) costs even more, 7.89%.
When zero lands, Rouge, Noir, Pair, Impair, Manque and Passe lose only half their stake and the other half is returned. That halves their edge, for a 98.65% return. Dozens, columns and inside bets get no help from the rule and keep the 2.70% edge, a 97.30% return.

No strategy beats the edge, but on this table your choice of bet does change it. Even money bets return 98.65% because of La Partage; every other bet returns 97.30%.
Red, black, odd, even, 1 to 18 and 19 to 36 get half back on zero. Dozens and columns lose in full, so a 2 to 1 bet here costs the same 2.70% as on any single zero table.
Neighbor and sector bets from the racetrack are made up of numbers, splits and corners, so La Partage never applies to them.
House edge, cheapest first. A shorter bar costs less.
The cheapest bets on the table are the six even money bets, returning 98.65% at half the edge of everything else.

Yes. If zero lands, even money bets lose half their stake and the other half is returned. Dozens, columns and inside bets get no La Partage.
Playtech’s rules give 98.65% on even money bets and 97.30% on all other bets. So red, black, odd, even, 1 to 18 and 19 to 36 carry half the 2.70% edge of the rest.
Both use a single zero wheel with 37 pockets and the same payouts. Playtech’s French table adds La Partage, which returns half of an even money bet when zero lands, and uses French bet names.
No. Only 1 to 1 bets are covered. Dozens and columns pay 2 to 1 and lose in full when zero lands.
Each number has a 1 in 37 chance per spin. Even money bets return 98.65% because they lose only half on zero; every other bet returns 97.30%.
On cost, any even money bet: red, black, odd, even, 1 to 18 or 19 to 36, returning 98.65%. Every other bet returns 97.30%, and no bet beats the house over time.
