How Blackjack works

LuckyStreak’s standard tables

Blackjack is LuckyStreak’s main live blackjack game, streamed from its studio in Riga, Latvia and dealt at numbered tables and a VIP table with higher limits. It is classic blackjack with a face down hole card: the dealer’s second card is turned over only after every player has finished. You can take up to three seats in a round, and Bet Behind lets you back another player’s hand at the same payouts, whether or not you are seated.

The rules

Eight decks, dealt until the cut card comes out. LuckyStreak says the dealer’s soft 17 rule differs by table and is printed on each table’s felt, so read it before you sit down. You can double on any two cards for one more card and split once, including any two 10 value cards. Split Aces get one card each, and an Ace and a 10 after a split counts as 21, not blackjack. Blackjack pays 3:2, other wins pay 1:1, and insurance costs half your bet and pays 2:1. LuckyStreak puts the main game return at 99.39% with optimal play.

Side bets

21+3 uses your first two cards and the dealer’s up card and pays 9:1 for a straight flush, three of a kind, straight or flush, with a 97.26% return. Perfect Pair pays 25:1 for a perfect pair, 12:1 for a colored pair and 6:1 for a mixed pair, returning 86.97%. Both return less than the main game, and so does insurance at 92.53%.
