Should you play it?

Silver Blackjack is the reference Evolution table: fair S17 rules, no fees, no gimmicks. If you want the lowest cost per hand at mid-range stakes, this is the shape of game to pick.

Play it if

  • You want the standard rules every basic strategy chart assumes
  • You value a private seven-seat table over infinite shared hands
  • You like Perfect Pairs and 21+3 as optional extras, not baked-in fees
  • A $50 minimum fits your bankroll

Variance profile

Low. One hand, even money payouts, and no fees or multipliers. The only way to add volatility here is the optional side bets.

How Silver Blackjack works

The Evolution standard, at silver stakes

Silver Blackjack is one of Evolution’s classic seven-seat tables. The name is about the limits, not the rules: Silver tables sit between the low-stakes party formats and the VIP rooms, with a $50 minimum. Everything else is the standard Evolution game, dealt by a live dealer from an eight-deck shoe in the Riga studio.

Rules worth knowing before you sit

The dealer stands on all 17s and blackjack pays the full 3:2, both good rules. You can double on any two cards, but not after splitting, and split Aces receive one card each. There is no surrender. The dealer only checks for blackjack when showing an Ace, so a doubled bet against a ten-up card is exposed if the dealer turns over a blackjack. Perfect Pairs and 21+3 side bets are available every hand; both pay a lot less back than the main game over time.

How to play it

This is the exact rule set the chart above is built for, so there is nothing exotic to remember. Stick to the chart, skip the side bets when you are playing for value, and use Bet Behind if the table is full and you just want action while you wait for a seat.

Silver Blackjack FAQ

What are the table limits at Silver Blackjack?

Silver tables run from a $50 minimum up to $2,500 per hand. If that is steep, Evolution’s Blackjack Party and Infinite tables offer the same rules from around $1 to $5.

Does the dealer stand on soft 17?

Yes. All of Evolution’s standard blackjack tables have the dealer stand on every 17, which is worth about 0.2% to the player compared with hit-soft-17 tables.

Are the side bets worth playing?

Perfect Pairs and 21+3 pay big odds but return noticeably less than the 99.4% main game over time. Treat them as entertainment, not value.

Why is it called Silver Blackjack?

The name marks the stakes tier, not different rules. Evolution runs the same game at different limits; Silver sits in the middle of the range.
