How Unlimited Blackjack works

Splits on rails

Ezugi’s second-generation Unlimited Blackjack streamlines the shared-hand format further. A fixed list of pairs, the ones basic strategy almost always splits, such as Aces and eights, split automatically the moment they appear. Pairs outside the list are simply played as totals. Your choice is whether to put money on one of the split hands or both.

The frame around the automation

Everything else is standard Ezugi: eight decks, dealer stands on all 17s, 3:2 blackjack, double on any two cards and after splits, no surrender, Ace-only check. The automated list tracks correct strategy closely, but not perfectly in every dealer-card context, which is why this page carries no chart.

A fair trade for most players

For casual players the automation mostly enforces good habits: you can no longer decline to split eights or wrongly split fives. For purists it removes real decisions. Know which player you are and the table either serves you well or quietly annoys you.
