How Classic Blackjack works

The table

Classic Blackjack is the standard Live Vegas game, dealt at tables such as Blackjack A, Blackjack B, BlackJack De Luxe A and BlackJack De Luxe B. Each table seats seven players, and the cards come from an eight deck shoe of two color cards, each with its own barcode.

The rules

Blackjack pays 3:2, the dealer must stand on 17 and must draw to 16, and insurance pays 2:1. When the dealer’s up card is worth 10, the hole card is checked: if it makes a blackjack, both cards are turned over at once, with no waiting. Live Vegas calls this Hidden Blackjack. Surrender is offered.

Side bets

Two side bets sit beside the main bet: Perfect Pairs and 21+3.
