Should you play it?

There is always a seat: Eclipse Blackjack takes an unlimited number of players at one live table. The felt says the dealer stands on all 17s and blackjack pays 3:2, and five side bets sit beside the main bet.

Play it if

  • You never want to wait for a free seat
  • You like a dealer who stands on all 17s
  • You enjoy a wide choice of side bets

Variance profile

Low. The main bet swings like any plain blackjack hand; the five side bets are where the big, rare wins and the extra cost sit.

How Eclipse Blackjack works

The table

Eclipse Blackjack, launched in October 2022, is OnAir Entertainment’s scalable take on its Standard Blackjack: a live dealer hosts the game and an unlimited number of players can take a seat. While you decide, real time statistics show what other players chose.

The rules

The table felt states that the dealer must draw to 16 and stand on all 17s, that blackjack pays 3:2 and that insurance pays 2:1.

Side bets

Five side bets sit beside the main bet: 21+3, Perfect Pairs, Lucky Lucky, Bluster Blackjack and Royal Jacks. A Place all side bets button covers them all in one click, and casinos can set up the side bets they offer.
