What happened to Extreme Live Gaming
Extreme Live Gaming no longer exists as its own brand. If you searched for it expecting a live casino you could sign up to, here is the honest position: the studio was bought by Pragmatic Play in June 2018, folded into that company’s own live casino, and the Extreme Live Gaming name was retired. There is nothing to join and no Extreme Live Gaming game left to play under that label.
The studio launched in 2013 and built live dealer tables, streamed from a real studio to online casinos, in the years when live casino was still a novelty. It became part of the Austrian gaming group Novomatic in 2014, which invested in the business and ran it from a London studio. On 26 June 2018 Pragmatic Play announced it had completed the acquisition of Extreme Live Gaming from Novomatic, taking on its ten live tables, its London studio and its titles. Pragmatic Play used that studio to launch its own live casino product, and the standalone Extreme Live Gaming brand was wound down.

What happened to its tables
At the point it was sold, Extreme Live Gaming ran ten live tables from London, covering roulette, blackjack and baccarat, along with a few of its own titles such as Golden Ball, Reel Roulette and Roulette 360. Those tables were not carried on under the Extreme Live Gaming name. Pragmatic Play switched the brand off and used the studio, the technology and the team as the foundation of its own live casino, which today streams under the Pragmatic Play name.
So if you were hoping to play Extreme Live Gaming blackjack or roulette, that specific product is gone. What replaced it is a different company’s live casino, and it is not a studio whose tables we verify by hand here. No. Pragmatic Play acquired the studio from Novomatic in June 2018 and folded it into its own live casino. The Extreme Live Gaming brand was retired and its tables were switched off, so there is no Extreme Live Gaming casino to sign up to any more.
Can I still play Extreme Live Gaming blackjack or roulette?
Not under that name. The ten London tables it ran, blackjack and roulette included, were shut down after the 2018 sale. The studio and its technology became the foundation of Pragmatic Play's live casino, which today streams under the Pragmatic Play name.
