BetOnline’s history includes a serious live blackjack controversy. The 2017 incident remains relevant when deciding whether to play here.
In 2017, a viral video showed a live blackjack dealer handling a card in a suspicious manner. The incident raised concerns about second dealing, where a dealer deals the second card instead of the top card. Our historical review recorded the controversy and BetOnline’s response.
That response described replacing Global Gaming Labs with Visionary Gaming and addressing player concerns. These are historical details of the 2017 response.
Today, BetOnline’s Casino FAQ says its RNG games are tested by Gaming Laboratories International. Its Responsible Gaming policy describes account breaks and self exclusion through Player Services. Bonuses and Promotions
The published casino welcome offer matches 100% up to $1,000 on each of the first three deposits, using BETCASINO, with a $25 minimum. It requires 45x wagering on deposit plus bonus and completion within 30 days. A $500 deposit with a $500 bonus therefore requires $45,000 in qualifying play before any applicable fees. Bonus funds are limited to Betsoft games; baccarat, roulette and craps do not count.
For eligible casino games, the General Rules contribution table lists slots without progressive jackpots at 100%, blackjack at 5%, and live casino at 0%. A $100 eligible blackjack wager contributes $5. Offer restrictions still apply, so confirm the specific game before playing. The casino welcome bonus cannot be cleared at live blackjack tables.
The separate published crypto welcome offer provides 100% up to $1,000 in sportsbook free plays, with CRYPTO100, a $20 minimum, 14x rollover and a 30 day expiry. It is limited to qualifying first deposits by U.S. and Canadian players. These free plays cannot be used in the casino, poker, racebook or live betting. Its rollover is separate from the casino welcome offer.

Our Verdict
BetOnline offers both casino games and live blackjack, but its 2017 history still warrants consideration. The operator publishes licensing, game testing and account protection policies. Those statements support a more informed decision; they do not establish a proven turnaround or guarantee fair play and prompt withdrawals.
Blackjack players should pay particular attention to bonus restrictions: the crypto welcome award is for sports, and live casino wagers do not clear the casino welcome offer. Confirm eligibility and the terms attached to your account before claiming a bonus.
