Is iDebit still available?
iDebit's Canadian website, idebit.ca, no longer runs a payment service: the address now shows a parked page, and iDebit publishes no current terms, fees, limits or support contact anywhere. A different business now uses idebit.com, an instant payments service for American banks with no casino or Canadian consumer product. Some casinos still list iDebit among their payment methods, but with no operator standing behind it in public, we do not recommend it for new deposits.
Before you pay with anything labeled iDebit, check who receives the money. Only enter your banking password on your own bank's website or app, and if the cashier sends you anywhere else to sign in, close it and use Interac e-Transfer instead.
What to use instead
iDebit was a way to pay a casino straight from a Canadian bank account. The method that does that today is Interac e-Transfer: you send the deposit from your own online banking, and many casinos pay winnings back the same way. Most casinos open to Canadian players take it.
