Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited was founded in 1945, making it one of Thailand's oldest commercial banks. It operates under the brand name Krungsri and is owned by MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group) of Japan, which acquired a controlling stake in 2013. Krungsri is regulated by the Bank of Thailand and is one of the country's five systemically important banks.
Krungsri offers retail and corporate banking, Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards, and participates in PromptPay, Thailand's national instant payment system. Its KMA (Krungsri Mobile Application) provides online and mobile banking for transfers, bill payments, and account management.
