Money in is how you pay into your casino account. Money out is how the casino pays your winnings back to you: it approves each withdrawal first, and may ask you to verify your identity before the first one.
American Express
Deposits only. American Express cannot receive payouts.
The times show how long each method takes to reach you once the casino has approved your withdrawal. Where a casino publishes its own payout time, we show that instead. American Express is not on this list because no casino can pay out to it.

The part nobody answers
American Express cannot receive casino payouts, so whichever casino you pick you are choosing a second method for the way out. This is what the casinos open to you actually pay with, and how long each route takes to settle once your withdrawal is approved.

|---|---|---|
| Bank transfer | 1 to 5 business days after approval | Most casinos |
| Bitcoin | 2 business days processing at Sloto Cash | Most casinos |
| Bitcoin Cash | 10 to 60 minutes after approval | Most casinos |
| Check | 5 to 15 business days after approval | Most casinos |
| Ethereum | Under 5 minutes after approval | Most casinos |
| Litecoin | 5 to 30 minutes after approval | Most casinos |
| Discover | 1 to 3 business days after approval | Many casinos |
| Interac | Usually instant after approval | Many casinos |
American Express has been one of the go-to options for online casino payments for years, and it's right up there with a few other prominent card service providers like Discover and VISA thanks to its worldwide availability.
It makes bankroll management easier through high-end security measures and anti-fraud systems. It's also decent in terms of processing speed, and you can use different types of its cards to fund your account.
We'll show you how AMEX online casinos rank in terms of payment speed and convenience in this guide.
The main reason for relying on American Express for casino transactions is the overall safety of the method. It features advanced payment protection systems, including fraud monitoring and protection. Here's a summary of the main benefits of this AMEX:
Depositing using AMEX is very similar to the process you go through with other credit cards. Create an account or enroll online, order a card, and once you've got some balance, follow these steps:
Once you've hit your first win at an American Express casino, you can go ahead and schedule a withdrawal. It's usually as simple as the deposit process.
Start by heading over to the Cashier section again. From there, select AMEX as your payout method. Some casinos might even automatically set it once you've already used it for deposits.
The rest is easy: fill out the withdrawal form, enter the payout amount, and confirm.
In most cases, American Express withdrawals take from 1 to 3 business days due to all the payment confirmation processes.
American Express is rather convenient in terms of surcharges, as you'll only have to pay some currency conversion fees. When making casino deposits or withdrawals using this method at a foreign platform, you might be charged 2.99% or 3% more, respectively.
As for the limits, you can deposit anywhere from $10 to $5,000 or even more, depending on the casino. In some cases, it's also possible to raise those limits by contacting the site's support.
If you're still having a hard time deciding if AMEX is the way to go, take a peek at our summary of its pros and cons:
Pros:
Cons:
Overall, American Express is a very commonly used method for online casino players, and it's for a good reason. It's extremely safe, featuring mobile payment security measures, data encryption, and other safety protocols.
It's also available at nearly every online casino except for crypto-only sites, so you'll have enough options to choose from.
The only major drawback is withdrawal processing, which might take days at times, and slightly higher fees for depositing at and withdrawing from foreign casinos.
