An excellent game library with live dealers, weighed down by heavy bonus wagering.
Every casino here accepts Nigerian players and has been tested by our team with our own money: we deposit, play, cash out and time the payout. 20 of the 158 casinos we have reviewed take players from Nigeria.
Opening an account through a link on this page may earn us a commission. It never changes a casino's rating or where it ranks: every casino here is scored the same way, on testing we run with our own money. See exactly how we rate. If a casino will not pay out, you can escalate it through our complaint channel.
Ratings, bonus terms and payment routes are recomputed from our own review database, and every casino here was tested with our own money.

No casino can pay for a rating, and a rating falls the moment the experience does. Every score on this site comes out of the same five steps, run with our own money.
We check the casino against its regulator's own register before anything else. A casino with no verifiable licence is never listed at all.
Real account, real money. We test the cashier both ways, the lobby's actual provider list, and how support answers when something snags.
The withdrawal times in our reviews are measured from request to money arriving, not quoted from the casino's marketing page.
Wagering, maximum cashouts, maximum bets, excluded countries and win caps: we publish what the small print says, next to the offer it applies to.
Our complaint channel stays open on every listed casino. Slowing payouts, tightened terms or stonewalled players re-score the review downward.
Nigeria has no single answer. Sports betting and the state lotteries are licensed and mainstream, but online casino games sit in a grey area, and since the Supreme Court's judgment of November 2024 gaming is regulated state by state rather than by one federal body. Every casino on this page is licensed offshore, in Comoros or Curacao, not by any Nigerian authority, so what protects you is the operator's record of paying rather than a Nigerian regulator.
| What | Status | The facts |
|---|---|---|
| Sports betting | Legal, licensed | Licensed and mainstream. Since the Supreme Court held in November 2024 that only the states may regulate lotteries and gaming, betting is licensed by state regulators rather than a single federal one. |
| State lotteries and land-based casinos | Legal, licensed | State-licensed. Land-based casinos operate in cities such as Lagos and Abuja, and the minimum age for a physical casino floor is 20. |
| Online casino games | Grey area, played offshore | Slots, blackjack, roulette and live dealer were never cleanly authorised nationally, and almost every casino Nigerians play at is licensed offshore rather than in Nigeria. Lagos can license online casinos under the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority Law 2021, but the sites on this page are not among them. |
| Who regulates it | State by state since 2024 | The 22 November 2024 Supreme Court judgment left the National Lottery Regulatory Commission with authority only in the Federal Capital Territory. A federal Central Gaming Bill for online gaming has been proposed but is not yet law. |
| Playing from Nigeria | Not the target of the law | Nigerian gambling law targets operators, not players. No law bans a Nigerian from playing at an offshore casino, and there is no record of a player being prosecuted for it. |
| Site blocking | None systematic today | Offshore casinos are reachable now, but regulators have signalled they want to restrict access to unlicensed sites, so keep a withdrawal route ready rather than a balance sitting on a site. |
No. Nigerian gambling law is written for operators, and there is no offence for a player who uses an offshore casino, nor any record of one being prosecuted. What you give up is protection: no Nigerian regulator stands behind these sites, and nothing about being offshore obliges a casino to pay you. The licensing here is Comoros and Curacao, not a first-tier regulator, so trust rests on our own testing rather than on a licence, which is why our ratings are built only on casinos we have cashed out from ourselves.

What we found testing the casinos that accept Nigerian players.
Casinos can hold more than one licence, and the chart counts each one. Our rating comes from our own testing, never from the licence alone: two casinos under the same regulator can behave completely differently.
71 of the 78 offers open to Nigerian players demand 35x to 40x playthrough. The bonus calculator turns any of them into real money before you commit.
68 payment methods work at the 20 casinos open to Nigerian players. 55 can pay you back out. The other 13 only take money in.
These take deposits but cannot pay out: MasterCard (at 19 of the 20 casinos), Visa (17), Voucher (2), BM Wallet (1), Helium (1), Icon (1), KasNet (1) and Kvitum (1), plus 5 more.
Nothing is wrong with depositing that way, but you need a second method lined up for withdrawals, and casinos often require you to verify it first. Choose your payout route before you deposit, not after you win.

No non-crypto method clears the bar we set. Clear the filter to see the crypto routes, which are the fast options here.
Sort by speed or by how many casinos take each method. Settlement windows are what we researched per method, not what the cashier promises, and the casino's own approval step comes first: that is the part that varies most, and our reviews publish it per casino. Rarely offered methods are left off this list.
Casino games are entertainment with a built-in house edge: over time the casino wins. If you find yourself chasing losses, hiding your play, or spending money you need elsewhere, treat that as a signal to stop and get support.
These live in your account settings, and support chat can apply them if you ask.
The Lagos regulator's SafePlay self-exclusion covers Lagos-licensed operators only, not the offshore casinos on this page, so a self-exclusion set in the casino's own account settings is the only one that will hold here.
You must be 18 or older to gamble online in Nigeria.
It is a grey area, but the law is aimed at operators, not players. Online casino games were never cleanly licensed nationally, and since the November 2024 Supreme Court judgment gaming is a state matter rather than a federal one. No Nigerian is prosecuted for playing at an offshore casino, so the real question is trust: these sites are licensed offshore, not in Nigeria, so protection rests on the operator's record of paying, which is what our ratings test.
Many of these casinos show a naira account balance, but that is not the same as paying out in naira. Cards take deposits only, and the withdrawals that actually clear here run on cryptocurrency, international e-wallets such as Skrill and Neteller, and bank transfer. Line up a payout route you can use before you deposit rather than assuming a naira withdrawal.
Lagos-licensed operators have deducted a 5% withholding tax from winnings at the point of payout since January 2025. The offshore casinos on this page do not withhold it, but that is not the same as your winnings being tax-free: the position on personal liability for offshore winnings is unsettled, so check the current rules rather than assume there is nothing to pay.
Because online casino gaming was never cleanly licensed at a national level and the market Nigerians actually use is offshore. Lagos can license online casinos under its 2021 law, but the sites here are not among them. An offshore licence is not a Nigerian consumer protection, so our rating rests on our own testing and cash-outs rather than on the licence.
20 of the 158 casinos we have reviewed accept players from Nigeria, and 17 of those rate 4.0 or better in our testing. The list on this page is ranked on that rating.
55 of the 68 methods available at these casinos can send money back to you; the other 13 only take deposits, including MasterCard, Visa and Voucher. Pick your withdrawal route before you deposit, because casinos usually make you verify it first.
