Is Ezugi safe to play?

Ezugi has been owned by Evolution since 2019 and does not hold a UK licence of its own; its games reach British players under Evolution’s UK Gambling Commission software licence, which covers the games it builds and the standards they are tested to. What was reviewed
A licence review of Evolution Malta Holding Limited, the entity whose UK software licence Ezugi's games run under, opened after Evolution games were found on unlicensed websites reachable by British consumers between December 2023 and November 2024.
What the regulator found
Between April 2024 and January 2025 Evolution breached licence conditions 12.1.1 and 12.1.2. The Commission found its money laundering and terrorist financing risk assessment did not meet minimum requirements, particularly on third party risk, and that its policies for monitoring the sub-licensees distributing its games lacked detail.
