A near-flawless crypto casino with tournaments, minus a few localisation gaps.
Playtech is one of the oldest and biggest names in gambling software: the studio group behind the Age of the Gods jackpots and Buffalo Blitz, a major live casino supplier, and the platform many casinos run on. It supplies casinos rather than being one. Here are the best Playtech casinos, what it makes, how it is licensed, and the company behind it.
A Playtech game plays the same way wherever you find it: the slot maths, the live studio and the dealer come from Playtech, not from the casino. What the casino changes is everything around the game: how fast your winnings arrive, what you can deposit with, which bonuses you get and whether table games count toward them.
Every casino here carries Playtech's games. The games are the same wherever you find them, so this list ranks the casinos we rate highest on what the casino itself controls.

Playtech is one of the biggest suppliers in online gambling, and it covers almost every game a casino lobby holds. By its own count it runs eight in-house content studios with a portfolio of more than 1,000 casino games, adding over 60 new releases a year, alongside live dealer studios, a poker network, bingo software, a sportsbook and the platform many casinos run on.
| Game type | What Playtech offers | Names to know |
|---|---|---|
| Slots and jackpots | More than 1,000 casino games from eight studios, and several jackpot networks | Age of the Gods, Fire Blaze, Buffalo Blitz, Jackpot Giant, Gladiator |
| Live casino | 17 studios worldwide, three of them in the US, and about 480 live tables | Quantum tables, Mega Fire Blaze Live, Deal or No Deal |
| Table games | Computer-dealt blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker games and video poker | Premium European Roulette, Premium Blackjack, Casino Hold’em |
| Poker | The iPoker network, running since 2004 across more than 80 brands | Age of the Gods Twister Poker |
| Bingo | Bingo software behind many of Britain’s big bingo brands | Mecca Bingo, Sky Bingo, Buzz Bingo |
Most people know Playtech through its slots. The Age of the Gods series, a Playtech mainstay since 2016, links its games to a set of four progressive jackpots, and Playtech has since carried the same jackpot into its live games, poker and bingo. The Fire Blaze series, with Blue Wizard and Sky Queen, is its other big family, and Kingdoms Rise and Cash Collect are further suites. It holds film and TV licences too, which is where slots such as Gladiator, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead come from, and it owns the studios behind other well-known names: Eyecon made Fluffy Favourites, and Quickspin, bought in 2016, makes slots under its own name.
Playtech films its live dealer games from its own studios, with its flagship in Riga, Latvia, others in Romania, Spain, Peru, Brazil and three US states, and tables streamed from the casino floors of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and the Hippodrome in London. Alongside blackjack, roulette and baccarat it runs game shows built on TV brands such as Deal or No Deal and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, and its Quantum tables add random multipliers to classic games.

Playtech is licensed as a games supplier, not as your casino. It holds UK Gambling Commission licences and a Malta Gaming Authority supplier licence, which cover the games it builds and the technical standards they are tested to, and it is a listed company that publishes audited accounts. None of that covers your account. Your money is held by the casino you deposit with, under that casino’s own licence, so a site can run perfectly fair Playtech games and still be a poor place to leave money. Check the casino, not the games.
Both registers are public, so you can check these entries yourself. Playtech says it works in more than 50 regulated markets, most of which do not publish a register in the same way.

Playtech was founded in 1999 in Tartu, Estonia, where its first development centre was. Today it is incorporated in the Isle of Man with its head office in London, trades on the London Stock Exchange as PTEC and sits in the FTSE 250, and employs over 7,400 people in 20 countries. For years it also ran betting and casino businesses of its own. It sold the biggest of them, Italy’s Snaitech, to Flutter in 2025, and now describes itself as a mainly business-to-business supplier.

Launches the iPoker network, shared today by more than 80 poker brands.
Floats on London’s AIM market, moving up to the Main Market in 2012.
Buys the Swedish slots studio Quickspin; the Age of the Gods jackpot series becomes a mainstay.
Buys Eyecon, the Australian studio behind Fluffy Favourites.
The UK Gambling Commission publishes failings at PT Entertainment Services, Playtech’s own casino operation, which had already given up its licence.
Completes the sale of Snaitech to Flutter and concentrates on supplying other operators.
Industry awards Playtech has won, from the biggest shows first.
No. Playtech is a software supplier: it makes casino games, live dealer tables and the platform a casino runs on, and licenses them to casino brands. The casino you sign up with holds your balance and pays your withdrawals, so its licence is the one that matters if something goes wrong.
Its slots and jackpots above all: the Age of the Gods series, the Fire Blaze series, Buffalo Blitz, Jackpot Giant and branded slots such as Gladiator and Breaking Bad. In live casino it is known for its Quantum tables and game shows such as Deal or No Deal.
Playtech's best-known slot series, built on Greek and Roman myth and a Playtech mainstay since 2016. Its games share a set of four progressive jackpots, and Playtech has carried the same jackpot into its live games, poker and bingo.
Yes. It was named EGR's Live Casino Supplier of the Year for 2026, and it runs 17 studios worldwide, three of them in the US, with about 480 live tables, including tables streamed from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and the Hippodrome in London and game shows built on TV brands such as Deal or No Deal.
Yes. It holds UK Gambling Commission licences under account 38516, including a gambling software licence held since 2014, and a Malta Gaming Authority supplier licence, MGA/CRP/137/2007. Playtech says it works in more than 50 regulated markets. Those licences cover the games, not your account at a casino.
Yes. In 2020 the UK Gambling Commission published serious failings by PT Entertainment Services, Playtech's own former online casino operation, over player protection and anti-money laundering. Playtech has since closed that business. The case was about the casino Playtech used to run, not the games it supplies to other casinos.
Playtech plc is a listed company on the London Stock Exchange (ticker PTEC) and a member of the FTSE 250, so it is owned by its shareholders. In 2025 it sold its Italian betting business Snaitech to Flutter, and it now describes itself as a mainly business-to-business supplier.
