Our Full BK8 Casino Review

BK8 is one of the largest casino and sportsbook brands in Southeast Asia, running regional sites for Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore and Cambodia alongside an international site in US dollars. The footer names the operator as Mettlemind Tech Ltd. (registration number 15779), licensed by the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, under licence ALSI-202504032-FI2. BK8 is well known for its sports sponsorships, currently including Burnley F.C., the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP team and the Badminton World Federation.

BK8 is built around live baccarat, and blackjack is a side dish. There is a live blackjack section led by Evolution tables, but no bonus turnover counts on RNG blackjack. The one welcome offer that allows live casino play carries 20x turnover on deposit plus bonus. This review covers the international US dollar site, and the regional sites run their own offers in local currency.

First Impressions

BK8 Casino homepage on desktop

BK8’s top menu runs across Sports, E-Sports, Casino, Slots, Fishing, lottery games, Fast Games, Promos and VIP, and the homepage leads with sponsorship banners and a live match centre. It is a busy, promotion-heavy layout typical of the big Asian sportsbooks, with a live chat button always on screen.

Currency choice is central. BK8 accepts Indonesian rupiah, Malaysian ringgit, Thai baht, Vietnamese dong, Philippine pesos and US dollars, plus Bitcoin, Tether and Ethereum through a separate crypto wallet. Money is moved from the main wallet into each game provider’s wallet before you play, which is also how some bonuses are claimed.

The Game Library

BK8 Casino live casino lobby on desktop

The live casino is split by studio: Evolution, Dream Gaming, SA Gaming, Sexy Casino, Pragmatic Play, WM Casino, Big Gaming, Via Casino and CyberBetX. Each can be filtered to Baccarat, Sic Bo, Roulette, Dragon Tiger, Blackjack or Others. Baccarat dominates: the lobby’s monthly winners list is almost all baccarat, and several tables carry BK8 branding.

For blackjack, Evolution provides the recognisable tables: Live Blackjack, Free Bet Blackjack, Infinite Blackjack, Lightning Blackjack, Power Blackjack, Speed Blackjack and First Person Blackjack. BK8 does not publish a list of RNG blackjack games or their rules, and the Asian studios concentrate on baccarat, dragon tiger and sic bo. Beyond the tables there are slots, fishing games, lottery, arcade-style fast games and a full sportsbook.

The Welcome Bonus in Practice

On the US dollar site, you pick a first-deposit bonus for one product. The promotion runs until 31 December 2026:

Product Bonus Minimum deposit Turnover Valid for
Sports and E-Sports 100% up to USD 100 USD 50 12x deposit + bonus 30 days
Live Casino 50% up to USD 100 USD 50 20x deposit + bonus 30 days
Slots 100% up to USD 100 USD 50 12x deposit + bonus 30 days

The Live Casino bonus applies to every live studio except Sexy Casino, CyberBetX and Allbet. The terms set out which bets count:

Game type Counts toward turnover
Live casino games (Live Casino bonus only) Yes
Slots (Slots bonus only) Yes
RNG blackjack and other non-live table games No
Ties, voided bets and bets on opposite sides No
What this means for blackjack players: only live blackjack can clear a BK8 bonus, and only the Live Casino bonus. A USD 200 deposit earns the maximum USD 100 bonus, and 20 x USD 300 means USD 6,000 of live bets within 30 days. Pushes do not count, and the terms treat leaving large bets on a blackjack table until wagering is finished as irregular play. The daily cash rebate on live blackjack is just 0.10% for regular members, or USD 6 on that USD 6,000.

Reloads and VIP

A daily 10% reload up to USD 50 carries 8x turnover. VIP status is based on monthly deposits, from 20,000 for Bronze to 350,000 for Platinum, with Diamond by invitation. VIPs get a weekly rescue bonus of 5% of net losses above USD 5,000, capped at USD 688 to USD 1,888 with 10x turnover. The rebate on live blackjack rises to 0.50% at Diamond.

Banking and Withdrawals

BK8 supports local bank transfers and e-wallets in each of its markets, such as DuitNow and Touch ‘n Go in Malaysia, plus Bitcoin, Tether and Ethereum through the crypto wallet. The full method list for your country appears in the cashier.

BK8’s regional FAQ gives these withdrawal times:

Method Typical withdrawal time
Pre-processing (all methods) About 25 minutes
Tether (USDT) 15 to 60 minutes, including blockchain confirmation
DuitNow and Touch ‘n Go 30 to 60 minutes
Bank transfer 1 to 3 hours on weekdays

Times can be longer at peak hours, weekends and holidays. The terms require every deposit to be played through in full before withdrawal, withdrawals must go in the currency you deposited, and the bank account must match your registered name. BK8 reserves the right to charge reasonable deposit and withdrawal costs. VIP members get daily withdrawal limits of 30,000 at Bronze up to 100,000 at Diamond.

Licensing and Safety

The Anjouan licence is an offshore licence, with lighter protection than Malta or the UK. The terms name no independent dispute service and say BK8’s decisions on accounts are final. BK8 says its games and RNG outcomes are audited by BMM Testlabs.

The terms bar residents of Aruba, Australia, Bonaire, Curaçao, France, Iran, Iraq, the Netherlands, Saba, Spain, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius, the United States and its dependencies, and the United Kingdom. BK8 can refuse players from other countries at its discretion.

Beyond the bonus rules, the terms let BK8 void winnings and close accounts for cheating or for using “an artificial intelligence or other system designed specifically to defeat the system”. There is no clause about card counting. BK8’s site says players can set deposit and loss limits, take a cooling-off break or self-exclude, and it links to GamCare and Gambling Therapy.

Customer Support

BK8 says support is available 24/7 by live chat, email and messaging apps, in English, Malay, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese and other languages. Live chat is the quickest route and is available from every page.

Mobile Experience

BK8 is browser-based and adapts to phones and tablets with no download required, carrying the full live casino, slots and sportsbook to a mobile screen.

Who BK8 Casino Is For

A good fit if you:

  • Live in Southeast Asia and want local currency and local payment methods
  • Play live baccarat as well as blackjack
  • Want Evolution blackjack tables such as Free Bet and Lightning Blackjack
  • Want fast e-wallet and USDT withdrawals
  • Deposit heavily and would use VIP rebates and rescue bonuses

Look elsewhere if you:

  • Want RNG blackjack to count toward a bonus
  • Want a published list of blackjack games and rules
  • Live in the US, UK, Australia, France, Spain or the Netherlands
  • Want an independent dispute service or a top-tier licence
  • Prefer a simple site without separate provider wallets

Verdict

BK8 is a big, established Asian brand with fast local banking, a wide live casino and a clear set of bonus terms. For blackjack, its Evolution tables are the main draw, and the Live Casino welcome bonus at least lets live blackjack count.

It is not a blackjack specialist. Baccarat dominates the lobby, RNG blackjack is excluded from all turnover, the licence is offshore and there is no independent dispute service. Treat BK8 as a live casino for Asian players with blackjack on the side, check your regional site’s offers, and play with money you can spare. As always, only wager what you can afford to lose.

BK8 Casino FAQ

Is BK8 licensed?

Yes. BK8’s footer says it is operated by Mettlemind Tech Ltd. (registration number 15779) and licensed by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, under licence ALSI-202504032-FI2. It is an offshore licence, and the terms name no independent dispute service.

What is the BK8 welcome bonus?

On the US dollar site, new players choose one first-deposit bonus: 100% up to USD 100 for sports or slots with 12x turnover, or 50% up to USD 100 for live casino with 20x turnover. Turnover is on deposit plus bonus, the minimum deposit is USD 50 and the bonus is valid for 30 days. The regional sites run their own offers in local currency.

Does blackjack count toward the BK8 bonus?

Only live blackjack, and only with the Live Casino bonus. BK8’s terms say turnover on non-live table games, including RNG blackjack, does not count unless a promotion specifically says so. Ties and bets on opposite sides do not count either, so a USD 200 deposit with a USD 100 bonus needs USD 6,000 of live bets.

How long do BK8 withdrawals take?

BK8’s regional FAQ says withdrawals go through about 25 minutes of pre-processing, then take 15 to 60 minutes for USDT, 30 to 60 minutes for DuitNow and Touch ‘n Go, and 1 to 3 hours for bank transfers on weekdays. Times can be longer at peak hours, weekends and holidays. Every deposit must be played through in full before you can withdraw.

What blackjack games does BK8 have?

BK8’s live casino has a Blackjack filter, and Evolution supplies the main tables: Live Blackjack, Free Bet Blackjack, Infinite Blackjack, Lightning Blackjack, Power Blackjack, Speed Blackjack and First Person Blackjack. BK8 does not publish a list of RNG blackjack games. Most of the live lobby is baccarat.

Which countries cannot play at BK8?

BK8’s terms bar residents of Aruba, Australia, Bonaire, Curaçao, France, Iran, Iraq, the Netherlands, Saba, Spain, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius, the United States and its dependencies, and the United Kingdom. BK8 can also refuse players from other countries at its discretion. Its main markets are Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore and Cambodia.
