What Cleopatra Casino was

Cleopatra Casino launched in 2017 as an Egyptian-themed online casino operated by Dama N.V., a Curacao-licensed company that runs a large stable of similar brands. It was a crypto-friendly site: alongside ordinary currencies it accepted Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tether and several other coins, and it accepted players from a broad international list including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Brazil and much of Europe. Its library was large, drawing on seventy-plus studios including Evolution, Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO and Playtech, with a full live-casino section. A “Pharaoh’s Treasure” loyalty scheme rewarded regular players.

Why and when it closed

Dama N.V. retired the brand in February 2026. The operator’s own closure notice on cleopatracasino.com announced that “the Queen officially stepped down from her throne,” with the shutdown reported on 16 February 2026. Unlike Casino Cruise, this was an operator decision to wind down a single brand rather than a company insolvency, so Dama N.V. itself continued to run its other casinos. The Cleopatra site stopped accepting players and its loyalty programme was discontinued.

What this means if you had an account

Because Cleopatra was one brand inside a larger operator, the closure notice pointed players with account questions to Dama N.V.’s support ([email protected]) and urged anyone still holding a balance to withdraw it promptly. If you played here and have funds or an open issue, contact that support address with your account details rather than waiting; balances left on a closed brand are much harder to recover once the site is fully retired. There is no live cashier or game lobby to return to.
